Corbusier's Imprint on Paris

Corbusier continued to design different buildings and cities while leaving his mark in Paris. Thus, creating the foundation of Paris as an urban city and the transportation system. Although he worked on several buildings around the world many people look to the influence he had in Paris. His Influence can be seen with modern day Paris in which they address social issues and an expanding city as Le Corbusier did. Le Corbusier’s ideals, perspective, and questions is what pushed Paris forward towards modernism. Even though none of Le Corbusier’s full plan was executed his design and outlook on future cities, workers, health, and function/ flow of city was essential for Paris’ foundation as a well known city around the globe. Without Le Corbusier Modern Paris would not be pushing towards sustainability. Clearly, Le Corbusier played an essential role to Paris’ growth, culture, and city as a whole; gifting Paris the foundational tool to adapt to the constantly changing modern world.
